Hero's Journey Esay
My Hero's Journey paper is on Phillip Enright. It's about how he was an annoying little boy and grew up into an young man. At a very young age. It does seem
seem like he Phillip finshed his Hero's Journey because he went through all the stages and events.
Phillip has to leave Willamstad, Curacoa with his mom and leave his dad behind, because of the war. Then he get's seperated from his mom when the ship they were on get's torpedoed. The Calling is when Phillip had to leave the island because his parents made him. The Threshold happened when his parents had a converstaion about Phillip and his mothe leaving the island.Phillip and his mom get on the S.S. Hato that is when the Descent occurs. This was one of the major events that happened to Phillip.
Helping Timothy was his Intitiation. Phillip and Timothy were in the Caribbean Ocean on a raft, then they got stranded on an unknown island. Phillips Mentor in the book was Timothy because Timothy taches Phillip how to fish and encourages him to climb a palm tree. The Transformation occured when Timothy slaps Phillip, then Phillip changes from being stubborn to a considerate ypung man.Timothy was a major impact on Phillips lfe.
When Phillip was saved by a boat.He returned to Curacoa. Phillip became more of a mature person and less prejudice. He's getting surgery so he can see again. I think Phillip will appreciate life more.
In my paper I talked mostly about Timothy and Phillip.Phillip did complete the Hero's Journey, Because you can fill in every catagory. The Cay is a really good book and people should definately read it. The lesson is thay life may throw things at you, but you have to put up with it. Also, be kind to others because you never know what may happen.
