In my essay im going to write about chuck noland. This papre is about my heros journey in Mr alten burgs class. chuck noland has completed a heros journey by gettin through an island by himself for 4 years.

chuck noland separated from his wife and family at thanksgiving to go on a buisness trip fo what he works for. he works for fed ex in the united states and he goes around the world. Chuyck nolands calling was when his job called and said that he is going to have to leave his family the night of thanks giving. When he decides to go is when him and his wife are in theree car and he is almost ready to take off. When he begins he is in the plane talking to a pilot of the plane he is taking off in.

In this movie his mentor is his wife. The reson his wife is his mentor is because he wouldn have survived if it wasnt for her being in his mind. When he enters the unknown is when he is on the raft and he is floating in the way of the waves. On the island his mentor is a volleyball that he had his blood on it and he formed it into a face. When his transformation begins is when he had started to catch fish and get to know a little more about the island that he is on.

When chuck finaly returns home is when he makes a raft and he makes it more than half way home and he is dicovered by a boat. The creatinon is when he returns home and he catches some fish. And when he teaches some of his friend top catch fish the way he had to on the island.
