Hero's Journey Eassy
This eassy is going to be about The Hero's Journey (Beowulf). Beowulf had a dream and he finally decided to go ahead and follow his dream. Beowulf completed 2 journey's. He died at his final journey.
Hi seperation was that in the text book version they are barely there. Another one was put up that he needed tp protect his people from the dragon and it was his fate. All the seperation steps together and made them the last step in the seperation.
The abyss is actually drawn out longer then it should to keep the feel of depressing loneliness in the second and the last. After the first two monster he changed and it showed in his old age when he was respected and humble. Being killed Grendel and it's mom made him a god.

because my sister was going to have a surgry.
When we were at the hospital we spent
a whole week there me and my mom. It was

because we didn't know any good places

When we came back from sacramento
everybody was happy to see us and

The hero journey i'm going to write about is Phillip and the way his life was going when world war two was going on. When phillip was living in the Caribiean they thought they were never thought they were not going to get attacked by the germans but then ther was a bombing on boats that were carring oil in and out of the carribien so Phillips mother dicides to leave. When they were leaving they got torpedoed and there boat sunk but Phillip got saved by Timothy and they were stranded on a boat for a couple of days. Intill they were saved Timothy is Phillips mentor when Phillip fell out of the boat Timothy saved him. They did'nt know if they were going to get saved or not. After a few months Phillip gets saved but Timothy dies wheb the island they were staying at get hits by a Hurricane. When Phillip gets back home Phillip gets his sight back and then after a while he goes back to see Timothes grave with his eyes closed

This paper is about Phillip Enright. He is a baoy who lives in Curaco with his mom and dad. His dad works in a refinary and his mom satys at home. He has a friend named Erik Van Bovan who he plays with all the time. I dont think Phillip completed a heros journey.
The separation is when Phillip and his mom are going to Florida and his dad is staying to work. Phillip and his mom leave Curaco on a boat and when they are getting pretty far out in the ocean their boat gets torpeadoed. When that happens Phillip and his mom get separated and nPhillip hits his head on a floating piece of wood then Tomothy a old black man pulls him on to a raft with Stew cat a cat. Then they are on the raft for a couple of days when phillip wakes up one morning and finds out he cant see.
When Phillip,Timothy,and Stew cat get on the island timothy goes right to work to make a shellter and phiilip just sits down because he cant see.Then Phillip starts to teack Phillip how to do things around the island beacause Timothy knows he wont be around for ever.Then the storm comes and Timothy protects Phillip from it the storm.Then when the storm passes Timothy gets sick and dies.So Phillip has to do everthing on his own.
After the storm passes Phillip has to rebuild everthing so he starts to make a fire and rebuild a hut.Then one dya he is sitting there he hears a plane so he starts the fire and the plane see him then awhile goes by and he doesnt think that the plane seen him then he hears men coming and they found Phillip and asked him if nthere is any one else on the island and he says no.Then they take him home.

during the winter vacation I had allot of fun. When my mom asked me if i wanted to go to six flags i wasn't sure if I want to go. when we were close to six flags we went to my relatives House to stay there over night. the next day we were getting ready to go to six flags but my brother was taking to long in the bathroom getting ready. when we got there we got our tickets and had allot of fun except the water rides was closed because it was winter. We still had allot of fun anyway. after six flags we went back home after two days my cousin invited us to a Christmas party. While in the party my relatives decided to hand out the presents. I had one bad present and it was a book. It was almost new years and my cousin went to my house to sleep over during 2 o'clock p.m. my other cousin Carlo came over and said if we wanted to have a sling shot fight. we decided to have the sling shot fight in the back yard. We took our place where we want to start in I started in the roof. my cousin could See me because he was in the front yard facing me, so I ran across the the roof and blindly shot at his forehead and left a big red dot we started laughing. After two days i went to there house to have the new years party i had allot to eat there, but i was still hungry so i ate some more. after the party we went to the movies the movie we saw was boring so it was a waste of time. after the movie i went back home and sleep.

My paper is about the hero's journey, Mr Altenburg read us a book called the Cay and we saw a movie called Cast Away. The person that i choose to write about was phillip Enright from the cay because i think i was the one who completed the Hero's journey. Phillip had moments that were sometime exiting and othr times really sad. In the begining of the book was the seperation when Phillip and his mother decide to leave the island were they live and to leave their father because of the war. And another part was when the are on the ship leaving the island a torpedo from the soldiers on the island mistake the ship they shoot and Phillip and his mom get seperated. This is when phillip meets timothy, Timothy safes Phillip after he gets hit with a piece from the ship that has been torpedoed. Timothy and Phillip have been a lot of days on a little ship in a huge carribean sea with Stew Cat. The calling was about how he was pushed to leave the island and his father, next is the Thereshold this part was about the conversation that the family had trouble with Phillip didn't want to leave his father or the island and his best friend Henrik Bandoven. In the part of the Descent they were on the SS HOTO on an uknown island. After that is the Abyss the Abyss takes place in a raft with Timothy and Stew Cat on an unknown Island next is the Mentor the Mentor in the story is Timothy since he is much older and wiser than Phillip plus Phillip went blind so Timothy helps him even more by bulding stuff to make his live on the Cay easier. the transformaton really transformed Phillip because t imothy slaps him because phiilip get upset of his blidness. The return was when people found phillip and he returns home.

The calling is when Phillip is forced to leave the island. The threshold is when the discussion occurs between phillip, his mom, and his dad. The descent is when Phillip and his mom get on the S.S. Hato. the abyss is when Pillip and Timothy are on the Caribbean Sea. The abyss is also when they end up on an unknown island in the Caribbean. Timothy becomes Phillip's mentor. Timothy teaches phillip how to fish by himself, he encourages Phillip to climb a tree, and he protects Phillip during the storm. The transformation begins when Timothy slaps Phillip, Phillip feels a change inside of himself. Phillip helps Timothy with his sickness. Phillip learns how to fish and he climbs a coconut tree. Then Phillip is alone. My opinion is that Phillip changes alot, thanks to Timothy. The characters return happens when Phillip is rescued. Phillip goes back to America with his mom, there, he gets surgery and he can see again. Then Phillip's mom changes her mind and they go back to the island with Phillips dad. Phillip uses what Timothy taught him to survive and to get rescued. Phillip changes alot with this experience. This experience also changes Phillip's mom and the way she thinks about colored people. My opinion is that this was a very good experience for Phillip. In my paper I talked about Phillip Enright's Hero's Journey. I think that Phillip did complete the Hero's Journey because of all the things he goes through. My opinion is that the journey that phillip went through was for the best.

Hero's Journey Essay
My paper is about Phillip in the story the Cay. It is about Phillip he is the main character in the story. He completed a Hero's Journey because he kept himself alive and Timothy alive as well.
The separation in the story was by Phillip getting separated from his family and Timothy saving him. Phillips calling is him learning how to build a shelter and learning how to fish. Timothy's threshold was when his eye started to hurt and then the next day he went blind. The island had a descent on it.
