My paper is about the hero's journey, Mr Altenburg read us a book called the Cay and we saw a movie called Cast Away. The person that i choose to write about was phillip Enright from the cay because i think i was the one who completed the Hero's journey. Phillip had moments that were sometime exiting and othr times really sad. In the begining of the book was the seperation when Phillip and his mother decide to leave the island were they live and to leave their father because of the war. And another part was when the are on the ship leaving the island a torpedo from the soldiers on the island mistake the ship they shoot and Phillip and his mom get seperated. This is when phillip meets timothy, Timothy safes Phillip after he gets hit with a piece from the ship that has been torpedoed. Timothy and Phillip have been a lot of days on a little ship in a huge carribean sea with Stew Cat. The calling was about how he was pushed to leave the island and his father, next is the Thereshold this part was about the conversation that the family had trouble with Phillip didn't want to leave his father or the island and his best friend Henrik Bandoven. In the part of the Descent they were on the SS HOTO on an uknown island. After that is the Abyss the Abyss takes place in a raft with Timothy and Stew Cat on an unknown Island next is the Mentor the Mentor in the story is Timothy since he is much older and wiser than Phillip plus Phillip went blind so Timothy helps him even more by bulding stuff to make his live on the Cay easier. the transformaton really transformed Phillip because t imothy slaps him because phiilip get upset of his blidness. The return was when people found phillip and he returns home.
