Victor Reyes Final Exam Essay

The Hero's Journe is divided into three stages, they are the return, separation, and initiation. All these three stages are divided too. For return has the creation, the separation has the calling, threshold, the descent, and the initiation, has the transformation, the mentor, and the abyss.
The Hero's Journey works so well to summarize a story, movie, movie, and stuff like that. You can get the small ideas, and convert them into the main ideas of the story. In the Hero's Journey we can organize everything in a simple way that we can understand it. Because sometimes the teachers give us papers within the informationand sometimes we don't understand that information in the way that its organized.
For my Hero's Journey i chose "The Odyssey". Because that was one of the stories that i really i pay attention to . So that means that its way easy for me to explain it.
Everithing started on troy when ody trys to back home. But when he finally finds the way to go back home, and he finally leaves troy he never thank the gods for helping him to leave troy withouy many problems on his way. But while he's going through his journey he gets in lots of trouble. Thats when the Hero's Journey comes in.
The initiation and the abyss is when ody goes to the land of the dead and he sees his mom and his mom encourages him to get back to his kingdom. The threshold is when he leaves troy to his way back home. The mentor is when he saw his mom in the land of the dead and she tells him to not give up because his wife and son were waiting for him. The transformation was when he wanted to kill all the guys that wanted to take over his wife and his kingdom. The return is when he gets home and the dog recnizes him and dies and also the lady that was washing ody's feet. And when his son finally meets him. The creation was when he decides to turn him self to an old guy and wait to see what was going on and then make his move to recuperate his kingdom.
