I Think Edgar Allan Poe's Death was caused by Rabies for his untimelly death people say it was becasue he was an Alcholic but there is more Evidance supporting the Rabies theorythan the drunk theory.
In 1980 there was a lot of rabies going around from pet animals like Edger's pet cat which he left in the Bronx.
Reoprters also reported that he was robed of his suit and had old ragedy clothes when they found supousubly drunk on the streets. When somebody has Rabies they can't recall being bit by an animal so they don't know they got rabies and they thought Edgar was drunk because of the sympthoms of the rabies whick includes just feeling weak and falling out of nowear and people thought he died of alchool poisoning when he was infected by rabies at the time of his death. When Eadger was in the hospital He could not recall being ill and a few days from being at the hospital he grew confused and then died proof of rabies. On September 23 A letter not admitting that there was a lack of scratches or bittes this was a weakness to prove he had rabies.
Eadger Family is against the rabies because he probablly had a drinking problam in his past so his family would not help him with his hospital things.
