In the story Cranes it tells of a war between the same country making it a civil war. and the the main charector comes across his child hood friend and he gots to take him to get executed. In the Whalerider there ove for there grandaughter there love for there people and there belives. The Afterlife Chuy shows love for a lot of people like his family his cousin Eddy and his friends trying to prove that revenge is not the answer and his new found love cristal.
